NOTD: Essie Knockout Pout + Haute As Hello

Here in Australia, the weather has been absolutely gorgeous during the day time with beautiful clear skies and warm weather. So to embrace the lovely weather, I thought I would slap on a few bright and fun polishes onto my nails. Today's post features two of my new favourite nail polishes Essie's Haute As Hello and Knockout Pout

As always, Essie's polishes have great consistency and easy application. I found that both these polishes were very thin so it was extremely easy to apply. I used three coats to achieve the final result, but I could have stopped at two if I wanted.

Both Haute As Hello and Knockout Pout were quite matte-looking before I added a top coat. I absolutely love when my nails are glossy as they appear to look so much 'fresher' and more neat. I originally was only planning on painting my nails with Haute As Hello, but I decided to be a little more creative (even though it's not very creative at all haha) and add Knockout Pout to my thumb and ring finger. I definitely love the results and how these two colours look with each other.

What are you wearing on your nails at the moment?

xo

  8. Very pretty colours. I recently purchased Essie's 'sexy divide' which is a nice metallic purple shade. I love it so much and it has such a gorgeous finish. However, i found the consistency to be very streaky and it was very difficult to get a nice smooth finish, although i am unsure whether i just got a bad one out of the lot :/ Regardless, i really like these two colours you have here especially the 'Knockout pout'
